You can support us with a range of specific activities – offering one off to more regular support.

The SSRU needs volunteers in all the following areas:

Fundraising – helping to organise fundraising events, working on funding applications and developing crowdfunding ideas and materials

Administrative support – organising one off and regular events

Archiving and digitizing – much material needs to be organised and archived

Web platforms (SSRU and University of the Trees) – regular updating of both websites

Transcribing – material to be transcribed is currently mostly in English or in German

Translating – much material needs to be translated from German > English. We also need to translate project handbooks and sections of the University of the Trees website, in the first instance from English > German; English > Chinese; English > Spanish

Project Assistance – researching, organising, funding, producing elements, media, training, in particular with aspects of the University of the Trees, Earth Forum, Exchange Values and forthcoming books/text-based research projects

Media and publishing – support with social media, preparing material for publications and facilitating other communications; producing physical materials [artists books, silk-screening, etc]

Documentation – Photographing and videoing events; editing video material; creating documentary material for the website and other online media
